A new 314 unit, 539 bed urban student apartment development on the border of the University of Colorado in the city of Boulder, Colorado.  The project is comprised of just under 200,000 square feet, with four floors of wood framed constructing over a basement-level post-tension concrete parking structure.  The site contained an existing historic mid-century modern church building, and the residential building plan wraps around this building to make it a focal point and maintain its presence on the street.  The church building was repurposed (project by a different architect) to provide a clubhouse with fitness center.  The residential building contains a roof terrace amenity space with excellent views of the mountains and campus.
